Outsourcing got you down? We don't outsource. All work is done in Austin, Texas. We are looking for one or two individuals - can be contract or full-time salary. Requirements: mastery of C language, C++ a definately plus. Experience with embedded software tools developing embedded software applications. Benchmarking and Performance Analysis would be a huge plus. Our projects include embedded software development, software testing and product analysis, benchmark suite development, firmware, board support packages, embedded operating system porting and development, technical writing, and so on. Typical assignments are developing or porting MP3 and MPEG players, porting embedded Linux, developing new benchmark and performance measurement tests, analyzing new embedded tools, and benchmarking embedded processors. You will learn a lot working with us. Our clients are a who's who of the semiconductor, systems, and software world. Much of our business is repeat business. There's a reason for this. Knowledge of Linux (or any Unix), Windows XP, networking (TCP/IP), open source, and how to get things done quickly and accurately are required. The ability to complete projects on schedule, with outstanding quality, without constant supervision is necessary for success. A strong work ethic combined with a very strong sense of honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness are required, as well as excellent references.
